9th grade math help?

I really need help solving this problem. you just have to find the inequality equations. they are word problems so they might seem long but they really aren't.

Fred wants to buy at least 50 pounds of fish but cannot spend more than $300. Cod is $4 per pound and salmon is $7 per pound. Let: x=#of pounds of cod

y=# of pounds of salmon

and another one...ugh...

Mr. Bloom is designing a rectangular flower garden with a fence around it. He can use no more than 80 ft of fencing. He wants the width to be at least 5 ft and the length to be at least 20 ft.

Let: x=width of the garden (ft.)

y= length of the garden (ft.)

9th grade math help?
x+y=50

4x+7y=300

x=50-y

4(50-y)+7y=300

200-4y+7y=300

3y=100

y=33.3

x=16.7
Reply:okay...

for the first problem the answer is 22 cods and 30 salmon

this makes it be 52 pounds of fish and only $288.

the second problem:

the width of the fence should be 15 feet

the length should be 25 feet
