Disabled housing register?

I have been waiting to be rehoused for over 3 years now i am on the disabled housing register. i need a 2 bed ground floor flat or bunglow with garden for support dog in the birmingham area. I have only put 7 birmingham areas down put i need family support quickly at times. i been waiting over 3 years i was told i was priority 14 months ago and again in September. i privetly rent at present a lovely house next to a great park but the design of the house is dangerous for me as i have sever epilepsy,sight and balance problems. steps in and out of all rooms, stairs, no shower, Gas fire ect ect.

has any one else been in same possition how long did you wait?

or do you know of anyway of getting things moving or what i can do to help myself.

Disabled housing register?
It can sometimes help if you can get your GP to write to the various housing associations explaining your problem. I was having the same problem, until Doc got involved. Was offered a bungalow within three months

Reply:if you go in pretending the only word you can say is "Asylum" you'll get a house straight away! Worth a try because if you're British thu and thu you can wait your whole life!
